With Voipfone Flex you can build a powerful phone system tailored precisely to your individual requirements.

You add phone numbers, telephone extensions, call queues, call recording, IVRs etc to your custom system as you need them, instantly and without an engineering visit.

Flex is cost effective for businesses with lots of users.

There are no contracts, so you can add and remove individual services to and from your system whenever your needs change.

What's included?

It's your call - choose only what you need from our range of premium phone services.

With Voipfone Flex there are no contracts, so you can add and remove individual services as your business needs change. Whether you sign up for just one single telephone extension, or several hundred, all the included and premium services are available to use.

Choose how many phone extensions you would like to start with, and sign up for your new Voipfone account. Once complete, log into your Control Panel and navigate to the Package Builder, where you can add any other services you require. If you find that you need more extensions (or fewer!) you can change them at any time too.

Making calls

All of Voipfone's Business plans come with calling minutes included, and with Voipfone Flex you still have that ability to reduce your call costs with our packages of pre-paid calling minutes. There are several options available:

  1. Landline minutes

    For calls to UK 01, 02 and 03 landline numbers only. Packages range in size from 250 up to 10000 minutes per month, at a discount of up to 15% off our normal call charges. Note: calls to Crown Dependencies (i.e. Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man) are not included in Voipfone Landline Minutes packages.
  2. Mobile minutes

    For calls to UK 07 mobile numbers only. Mobile networks included in the packages are Vodafone, O2, EE and Three, plus their resellers such as Virgin, Sky, GiffGaff, Tesco and ASDA. They exclude specialist networks such as Manx and Jersey. To check whether a particular number is included, enter it into our Call Cost Calculator - included numbers will display at 7p per minute. Packages range in size from 250 up to 10000 minutes per month, at a discount of up to 65% off our normal call charges.
  3. Mixed minutes

    For calls to UK 01, 02 and 03 landlines and UK 07 mobile numbers. Mobile networks included in the packages are Vodafone, O2, EE and Three, plus their resellers such as Virgin, Sky, GiffGaff, Tesco and ASDA. They exclude specialist networks such as Manx and Jersey. To check whether a particular mobile number is included, enter it into our Call Cost Calculator - included mobile numbers will display at 7p per minute. Note: landline calls to Crown Dependencies (i.e. Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man) are not included in Voipfone Mixed Minutes packages.

If you want to call other numbers not included in your minutes package, such as international or non-geographic numbers starting 084 etc, you will need to add ordinary calling credit to your account too. Call credit can be bought from your Control Panel Package Builder, in various amounts from £5 up to £500. Calling credit does not expire. You can also set up an auto-top up to ensure you never run out.

Receiving calls

The main features of a PBX system typically revolve around the routing of incoming calls to a phone extension, using groups, queues, menu systems (known as Interactive Voice Response, or IVR), business hours and call forwarding, to ensure your calls get to the right person at the right time. To help you find the best configuration to suit your needs, we've written a guide to the flexible routing options available with the Voipfone Cloud PBX.

If you can't answer your phone, you can use our Voipfone PA call answering service to take your calls instead. Our team of assistants will never be late, at lunch, off sick or on holiday - there will always be someone available to answer your calls.

This service is charged at only £2.50 per call, but we also offer pre-paid Voipfone PA call packages which can significantly reduce that cost. They are useful if you receive a lot of calls every month or just need the convenience of a fixed recurring charge. Packages range in size from just 5 calls per month up to 200, at a discount of up to 40%.
